If you’re renting out a property then you’re aware about all the hustle involved with doing the check-in, the check-out, the cleaning, etc… And the hustle only increases with the number of properties that you have to manage.
We already explained in a previous post that you can create checklists for your services (services being: check-in, check-out, cleaning, …). We also briefly mentioned that when you create a new booking, a job is created for each service defined on your property (if you wish so).
Here is a small schema/example:
So when a booking is for instance created for the Wilson family (from the 1st till the 15th of August), then 3 jobs are created automatically because there are 3 services defined for your property. Basically, you can consider a service as a “job template”. Also notice that jobs usually have a date & time. You can see & change these jobs when you open the booking for the Wilson family (select the “Jobs” tab):
From here you can easily communicate with your service providers by using these jobs. Active and upcoming jobs are visible on your rental dashboard.
Your service providers also have their own dashboard within AirCare.rentals where they have an overview of all jobs allocated to them (and that can be from many different property owners/managers). A service provider should always first accept a job: that’s a confirmation that the provider will be available at that date/time to perform the job:
From there, your service provider can change the state of the job or provide feedback about the job so you are updated in real-time about the progress. The screenshot below shows the “Job Details” screen that your service provider can use:
Notice the Start & Finish buttons that can be used to notify the property manager/owner about the progress. Messages can be added to the job in order to communicate about this specific job and in the next tab “Inputs” there are some input fields available (based on the setup of your property, examples: feedback about damage or stolen goods, consumption of utilities, etc…).
Also notice the “Checklists” tab where the service provider can review all the checklists that you provided so that the job is executed to your wishes.
So by using jobs for all of your bookings you stay in control of your rentals!
